Weekly class lessons in Drama help develop self-confidence, imagination, co-operation and concentration. Classes are fun with many different activities which not only enhance performance technique, but also teach students about social issues and conflicts from cultures, past and present. Through role-play, poems, stories, acting, public speaking and performing, Drama helps to improve expression of ideas. It also promotes voice projection, articulation, fluency, listening skills and with the use of movement in Drama activities, flexibility, co-ordination and balance.

All students at the Junior School are encouraged to participate in School Plays, Concerts and any form of Public Speaking. Our many talented pupils have been involved in productions such as; Aladdin, A Christmas Carol, The Wizard of Oz, Bugsy and many other performances.

The Lady Elizabeth School is proud to be associated with LAMDA (the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art). Pupils have the opportunity to take annual LAMDA examinations and the results are always excellent.

Weekly after School Performing Arts Classes take place and are enjoyed by children of all age groups.
